Featured Interview: Unreal Master

As we're starting to get more and more 3D content on the site, we keep coming across talented artists who have some great content to share. We recently did a short interview with one such artist, "Unreal Master", to get to know him and his craft a little better!

Check out his Cubebrush store for some ultra clean game models.

Q. How did you get started doing game art?

The first money I made was developing mods for the game S. T. A. L. K. E. R. and selling it on the fan website.

Q. What is your inspired from?

I try not to stick to a specific and love trying something new.

Q. Can you describe a typical work day?

Maybe this day would seem like a normal past-time in front of the monitor for most people, but for me this day is full of emotion and zeal.

Q. Programs of choice to create your models?

3ds max, 3D Coat, ZBrush, Topogun, Photoshop, etc.

Fruit.

Q. If you could send a message to yourself back in time when you started as an artist, what would you write?

Don't waste your time learning to model in "Solidworks".

Q. What would you say is the best way to learn game-art making?

Inspiration, perseverance, work, and caffeine.

Q. Do you have any project you have planned this year you want to talk about?

Planned a joint project with other artists on UE4. But so far no details...
