New Payment Options: What to Know

Cubebrush has an array of products on the site from free resources to full art schools. That’s why we’ve expanded our ways to pay. That way, whether you’re purchasing large or small, you’ll have plenty of options.

Here are the new payment options available.

Afterpay

Afterpay is a finance-tech company known for its distinctive payment service that allows you to buy now and pay later. Acting as a middleman between customers and businesses, Afterpay first pays the seller for products, after which the customer pays Afterpay back over several installments.

The payments must be made in four, once every other week over a period of eight weeks. Unique to most alternative systems of payment, Afterpay does not require customers to take out a loan or use a credit method, meaning it is interest-free.

When making a purchase on Cubebrush, simply select Afterpay as your payment method at checkout. You will need to create or log into your account for online orders.

You will need to pay 25% at the time of purchase then log in to your Afterpay account to view your scheduled installments. Either make the repayments before the due dates or they will automatically be taken through your debit or credit card on the due dates. Afterpay is only available in Australia, the UK, Canada, the USA, and New Zealand.

Klarna

Klarna provides services that allow you to shop and bank on customers’ terms, providing you with three distinct ways to pay: (1) ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’- pay in 3, (2) ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’- pay in 30 days, or (3) long-term financing for higher-ticket items.

When you make a purchase, Klarna conducts an eligibility assessment and soft credit check so that they can determine in real-time whether the customer can comfortably make repayments.

In the Klarna App, you can then pay off the balance, or extend the due date once by 10 additional days. There are no additional fees or interest associated with the first two options of payment, and credit scores won’t be affected in the process. Klarna is available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Great Britain, and the USA.

Google Pay

Google Pay is a digital wallet service that you can use to shop online, in apps, and contactless in-person using a mobile device. It allows you to pay faster by securely storing your credit card on the platform so that you don’t have to enter your card details every time you make a purchase.

This online payment system carries no extra fees and protects customers’ information using several security measures. In fact, upon making a purchase, Google Pay keeps your actual card number hidden, so all of your details stay soundly secure.

To checkout with Google Pay, simply select the Google Pay option. If prompted, choose your method of payment and enter your delivery address. Then confirm your order. Currently, GooglePay is available in 42 countries.

PayPal

PayPal is a heavy hitter when it comes to digital payment. With nearly 360 million active users across over 200 countries, and completing billions of transactions yearly, Paypal’s service gives customers alternative methods of making purchases, as well as sending and receiving money online. Instead of using a traditional credit card, PayPal gives you the option to pay with a bank account, hiding your payment information from sellers, and removing the need for checks and costly wire transfers.

PayPal serves as an intermediary between the bank and sellers, protecting your payment information in the process. You can also link cards to your PayPal account, and use them easily without having to enter your card details. To make a purchase via PayPal, simply log in to your account upon checking out.

There are typically no extra fees associated with creating a PayPal account or online purchases and personal transactions. For certain types, however, there can be small fees, such as a 3-4% added fee for transactions involving currency conversion.

Crypto

Cryptocurrency, or crypto for short, is a digital asset that is typically supported by blockchain, which stores records of transactions and ownership of the money. Instead, people can buy, sell or trade them securely, minimizing the need for circulation within the government or a bank.

Although Bitcoin is the first and most well-known, there are multiple types of crypto. Ethereum can be used to pay for more complex transactions than Bitcoin can manage, Litecoin makes payments simple and easy, and Stablecoins were designed to remain relatively stable compared to dollars.

If you want to pay with crypto on Cuberush, you will go through Coinbase Commerce, a third-party digital payment service that accepts currency in 7 types of crypto: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, DAI, Ethereum, Dogecoin, USD Coin, and Litecoin. Your payment will go directly into Cubebrush’s wallet, with no extra fees for the customer.

Traditional Credit Card

Last but not least, Cubebrush also accepts traditional credit card payments so that you can get your favorite products in whatever way works best for you.

Rely on Cubebrush to find what you need, and have choices in how you pay for it.
