By approaching the 3D object as clay, Tony shows you which brushes he uses to shape the clay and also tells you which brush he thinks is most similar to a pencil in ZBrush.

Part 3

In this video, Tony customizes a ZBrush material to resemble line art and renders out an image to bring into Adobe Photoshop for illustration.

Part 4 goes over the process of adding screen tones onto the image in Adobe Photoshop.
