Push Notifications

Push Notifications

We have a ton of new features in development here at Cubebrush and today we're launching shiny new Push Notifications to kick things off for the summer!

Push notifications are messages your browser can display to you for a particular website even when the site isn’t loaded. They're super useful for email services like Gmail for example, notifying you as soon as you receive a new email even if you're not on the Gmail website. The same is now true for all your enabled Cubebrush notifications.

When you visit the website for the first time since the update, you'll be prompted to enable push notifications - simply confirm the option and you'll never miss a message, forum reply or any other Cubebrush notifications you have enabled ever again.

You can also turn those off at any time from your settings.

Here are some relevant links to enable/disable browser notifications:

Bonus

On top of the new push notifications, you will also notice a few changes in your inbox. You can now tidy it up by sending old conversations to your new trash page where they will be permanently deleted after 30 days.

We hope you enjoy the new feature and as usual, don't hesitate to let us know what you think in the comments below!
