Kawagoe (川越市, Kawagoe-shi) is a city in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. I was there in January. There was a special festival in the city. The city is known as "Little Edo" (小江戸, Koedo) after the old name for Tokyo, due to its many historic buildings. You will see the Kawagoe Bell Tower, historic old buildings, and architectural details.

Seiya-san Muryōshuji Kita-in (星野山無量寿寺喜多院) is a Buddhist temple located in the city of Kawagoe. You will see some Buddha statues of the 500 Rakan at Kitain.
