    New Plant High detail Saribus Rotundifolius Small

    Pretty as a small plant, imposing as a mature tree, the Saribus rotundifolius Footstool Palm germinates easily, and grows very quickly and easily. The leaves are, as you might guess, round in outline from a very early age, and have a glossy green color. The trunk is clothed in its upper portion with beautifully woven fibers and the crown is taller than it is wide, making it easily recognizable. It appreciates a subtropical or tropical climate and makes one of the most attractive potted fan palms when young. Saribus rotundifolius is originally native to rainforests between Borneos Banggi Islands and New Guineas Raja Ampat Islands. It is perhaps still better known as Livistona rotundifolia.
